How long are classes?
All classes on our adult ballet programme last 1 hour 15 mins.
What should I wear to class?
Something you feel comfortable in and that will not restrict your movement. Participants generally wear loose-fitted trousers, tights or shorts with a t-shirt or leotard. You may dance barefoot, in socks or in soft ballet shoes. Long hair should be tied back.
What should I bring to class?
Appropriate clothing (including layers that can be removed as the body temperature increases) water bottle, sweat towel, soft ballet shoes if you have them, focus and enthusiasm!
Where do I sign in for my class?
All drop-in participants must sign in before the start of their class with the teacher.
For participants who have enrolled for the term you will only be required to sign in at the reception before your first class.
Is there a place to leave valuables?
Please take all your belongings with you into the studio. Although we do have male and female changing rooms it is not safe to leave anything unattended in the changing rooms.
Studio etiquette
Photography and filming is not permitted inside our studios
No outdoor shoes are to be worn in the studios. No food or drink, except bottled water, can be taken into the studios. All mobile phones must be switched off during class.
Studio bookings often run back to back. Once your class has finished please exit the space quickly to allow the next group to start on time. If participants would like to stretch after their class please use the stretching zones.
Can I take part if I’m pregnant or injured?
We take every care to ensure the well-being and safety of class participants. If you are pregnant or have an injury or medical condition that may be aggravated by taking class, please seek advice from your GP before attending a class.
Classes and Courses Terms & Conditions
Latecomers: If a participants arrives 15 minutes or more after the class start time they will not be permitted to participate in the class due to health and safety reasons. Latecomers will be given the opportunity to watch the remainder of their chosen class.
Refunds
It is not our policy to refund or replace missed classes. Refunds will only be considered for particular circumstances. Refunds are not offered retrospectively and may be subject to a €15 administration charge. Any missed enrolment classes CANNOT be replaced by participating in any other class.
